Tekla Engineer – Nolte Mezzanine

We are looking for a Tekla Engineer

As a Structural Tekla Engineer, you work out complex structural steel designs for international projects using the Tekla Structures 3D drawing package. You independently monitor the progress of the projects and maintain contact with our clients, suppliers, the assembly and production teams. You will be supported in this by the Head of Business Office, constructors, and junior engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and calculating steel structures (main load-bearing structures, mezzanine floors, stairs, platforms, etc.)

• Assessing structural safety, stability, and detailing according to Eurocodes and other relevant standards

• Providing input for working and production drawings

• Reviewing and assessing calculations and designs from colleagues or external parties

• Advising project teams on structural decisions and optimizations

• Preparing reports, structural documentation, and delivery files

• Identifying bottlenecks and providing solutions within the design process

• Coordinating with engineering, project management, and production to ensure feasibility

• Attending project meetings, construction meetings, and client visits when necessary

• Ensuring proper archiving of calculations and documents

• Staying up to date with developments in the field

Skills:

• Experience with structural calculation and design software such as SCIA Engineer, IDEA, Tekla, or similar

• Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Proficiency in English (German is a plus)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s level of education, preferably in Mechanical or Civil Engineering

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position

• Knowledge of standards, regulations, and procedures in steel construction
