What you will do
Project management framework & governance

• Define and implement a standardized project management framework across the organization
• Govern planning, prioritization, milestones, risks, and cross-domain dependencies
• Establish clear ownership, escalation paths, and reporting routines

End-to-end delivery leadership (smart lighting stack)
Lead and coordinate initiatives spanning:

• Hardware and electronics development
• Embedded software / firmware
• Cloud platforms and integrations
• Enterprise IT systems
• Supply chain and manufacturing coordination
• Drive alignment between business priorities and technical delivery outcomes

Stakeholder, client, and supplier coordination

• Act as a key coordination point for EU-based clients and internal leadership
• Work effectively with Asian stakeholders, including manufacturing partners in China
• Travel across the EU for client and stakeholder engagements when required

Transparency and continuous improvement

• Provide executive-level project visibility and decision support
• Identify structural bottlenecks and implement improvements across delivery flow
• Improve predictability, reliability, and time-to-market

What we are looking for (must-have)

• 10+ years of professional experience working with EU-based clients, in multiple delivery models and industries

(middle-management experience is acceptable; seniority is defined by scope and ownership)

• Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional projects in technology-driven environments
• Experience managing programs that combine cloud/software platforms and IT systems
• Professional experience living and working in at least three countries
• Demonstrated ability to operate in multicultural environments with senior stakeholders
• Possibility and willingness to travel across the EU for client visits and project governance
• Proven experience working with Asian stakeholders
• Experience leading and coordinating Asian stakeholders or teams

Languages

• Fluent in English, Dutch, and Russian (spoken and written)
• Professional working understanding of German

Nice to have

• Experience implementing organization-wide project governance standards
• Background in regulated or high-reliability product environments
• Strong tooling experience (e.g., Jira/Confluence or equivalent enterprise project stack)

• Improved coordination across hardware, embedded, cloud, IT, and supply chain stakeholders
• Clear executive visibility into delivery status, risks, and dependencies
• Reduced delays caused by dependency and handover issues—especially across borders
• Improved delivery predictability and stakeholder confidence
