PHP Laravel Developer

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an experienced software engineer with at least 3 years of work experience to support our team during a transition period. We are seeking a professional with a broad skill set, specifically:
 
Technical skills:

• Laravel PHP stack – in-depth knowledge and experience required.
• .NET and Azure Cloud (preferred) – Experience with .NET and familiarity with Azure environments.
• Vue 3 (preferred) – Experience with this framework is an advantage.
• CI/CD Practices – Familiarity with modern CI/CD tools such as GitHub/GitLab Actions or Azure Pipelines is essential.
• Cloud-related Experience (preferred) – Preferably with a focus on cloud development environments, including:
• Deployments using tools like Terraform or Bicep.
• Experience with microservices architectures, such as Azure Functions or AWS Lambdas.

Responsibilities:

• The candidate will primarily manage and further develop a Laravel PHP web application in an Azure environment.
• They will collaborate with a backend developer specializing in .NET and a full-stack developer skilled in both Vue 3 and Laravel.
• The main task will be facilitating the migration of the Laravel stack to a .NET native Azure application.

Soft skills and communication:

• High English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Given the nature of our team and the physical distance from the Dutch team, strong communication skills are essential.
• We are looking for someone who communicates proactively about challenges, schedules, and availability and values collaboration over working independently.
• Clarity and open communication about pitfalls and issues are crucial.
