Vacancies.
Senior Android / Kotlin Developer
We’re committed to upholding a culture where you are valued and respected. Your entire experience—starting with your application—is designed to be the beginning of an inspirational journey, where you are treated warmly and with respect. We hire enthusiastic and ambitious individuals who are ready to collaborate and want to share both our values, and the values of the partners they work for.
What we are looking for
Responsibilities:
- Building Android applications: developing new features using Kotlin, the Android SDK, and Jetpack Compose.
- Maintaining and improving existing applications: contributing to refactoring and new features without impacting production.
- Realizing customer integrations: connecting applications to backend services through APIs and ensuring reliable data exchange.
- Making architectural choices: advising on mobile architecture, data models, and interfaces, with a focus on maintainability and code quality.
- Code reviews and pair coding: helping mid-level colleagues grow and exchanging ideas with other senior engineers. You share what you know and are open to learning what you don’t know yet.
- Managing releases: preparing, testing, and publishing application updates through the Google Play Store.
- Working directly with clients: during implementations, collaborating with technical colleagues or architects from the client side and translating their questions into working solutions.
This is you:
- 5+ years of experience as a professional software engineer in a product or integration environment, with a strong focus on Android development.
- Strong skills in Kotlin and Android development. Experience with PHP is a plus, or a willingness to develop in it.
- Hands-on experience with Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, and Android Studio.
- Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) is a plus.
- Experience with API integration, asynchronous programming, and relational databases.
- A domain-driven approach: you model from the business, not from the framework.
- You understand legacy systems: you know when a refactor is worthwhile and when it is better to build a layer around existing code.
- A senior attitude: you make decisions, share knowledge, and are not a prima donna about your code.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
