What we are looking for
Responsibilities:
- Design and calculate steel structures (load-bearing structures, mezzanines, stairs, platforms, etc.).
- Perform structural calculations and assess safety, stability, and feasibility according to Eurocodes.
- Review and validate structural designs and calculations.
- Support the preparation of working and production drawings.
- Advise project teams on structural solutions and optimizations.
- Prepare structural documentation, reports, and calculation files.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Production, clients, suppliers, and external engineers.
- Participate in project, design, and client meetings when required.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and engineering standards
This is you:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in steel construction.
- Experience with structural design software such as SCIA Engineer, IDEA StatiCa, Tekla, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and steel construction standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Fluent English; German is a plus.
